It’s been a HORRIBLY long time since I’ve blogged! Apologies, for more than one reason, are in order. First, I missed the posts for the last week of my Tight Spaces Kick Off Blog Tour, including the finale to announce the winners of the giveaway! I have good reasons, I promise. (FYI, the finale post will go up in a few days, within a week.) Second, I owe the members of my blogging network extreme apologies, since I haven’t been active there either. As a consequence, I haven’t Tweeted the announcements for their blog posts. Sorry, guys! I PROMISE, I’m getting back to it! Third, I’m sorry, Azure! As you know, Azure Boone, BFF and Crit Partner, and I are working on a joint project that will seriously rock your world. The first book of our Paranormal Romance series, “Archangel’s Creed, The Summoning I, Kassern” is moving fast and we … Continue reading →
The Naughty or Nice Giveaway Hop was organized by Nat @ Reading Romances! Welcome to my stop on the Naughty or Nice Giveaway Hop!! First, in what has been a pattern for me recently, I’m LATE getting the post up! I even had it scheduled and everything, but I put the wrong damn date in the scheduler. Figures. But, better late than never. I’m giving away a copy of my VERY NAUGHTY novella, Tight Spaces! With the first anniversary of the messy break up of a long-term relationship bearing down, Amy has the blues. When her friends suggest an evening at the Double Dare, she reluctantly agrees to go along. She doesn’t do the casual sex thing, but it’ll be good to spend time with her friends. Seeing Jesse at the Double Dare immediately cheers her up. She’s fantasized over him for months. The evening gets more pleasant as … Continue reading →
I confess, I’m a horrible procrastinator. If I have a deadline, I’ll do most of a job ahead, and save the last bit to do as the clock is ticking off the deadline. This project was no different. TIGHT SPACES has been finished for a couple of weeks, and the release date decided. But did I upload it early? Nope! Waited until 36 hrs before the intended release. And, even though it was finished, I still added part of a scene Thursday evening, right before uploading. I’d hoped it would go live this morning, but it didn’t until mid-afternoon. But, it’s available now!! Buy TIGHT SPACES A lonely woman goes dancing with friends to kick the Bad Breakup Anniversary Blues. Her fantasy-man is willing to help, until her lowlife ex ambushes him. With the first anniversary of the messy break up of a long-term relationship bearing down, Amy has the … Continue reading →
Hi, all. This week’s Six is from Tight Spaces again. It’s FINISHED at last! Keep an eye on the Double Dare Page – I’ll reveal the cover and announce the expected release date SOON! For now, this will have to do 😉 This snippet is from early in the novella, as Amy is going into the Double Dare Club. The doorman is selecting his evening’s prospects from among the female clientele as they enter the club. “That’s an awfully nice dress for a dump like this, Sweetheart.” She licked her lips before answering, causing heat to flare in his eyes. “It’s my favorite, so I decided what the hell.” “If you get tired of the jerks inside, come on back out and keep me company a while. I know how to treat a lady.” His voice, rumbly and intimate, promised a good time. Come back next week, for Six Sentences from the … Continue reading →
This week’s Six is from Tight Spaces, my Erotic Contemporary Romance Novella, Book One in my new series, The Double Dare Club. I’m finally closing in on The End for this one! I only have the final scene left to write and edit, so just a couple hours work, and I can type “The End”. In this snippet, Amy and Jesse have left a nasty confrontation with Amy’s Ex that nearly tanked their lovely evening. With the rest of the night salvaged, Jesse wants revenge, so he searches out a member of the Double Dare Club Security. “Sounds like the guy. Listen, Ray, he’s been hassling my friend here. Said some stuff that made her feel really bad. Is there any way you could make sure she doesn’t have to deal with him anymore tonight? Until we leave here, at least.” Jesse slipped the bouncer a bill, concealing the … Continue reading →
The other day, in the process of updating one social media thingie, I was prompted for a Google Plus Page. Well, I didn’t have one, or know much about them. So I did a little research, thought about it, decided to give it a go, and set one up. Announcing! I'm a Romance Author - mainly Paranormal, but nearly all with fairly graphic intimate scenes. Those scenes serve to further the development of my plots and characters and are not included haphazardly to sell books or arouse readers.
I probably COULD tell the stories without the graphic parts, but I CHOOSE not to. I want to show the full scope of the developing relationship, and leaving out some of the most powerful and meaningful moments will deprive the reader of a measure of understanding and emotional reaction to the characters and their stories.
Since I write books intended for adult readers, I often have material on my website that is entirely unsuitable for younger readers. If you're under 18, or if you're easily offended by open discussion of sexual situations with frank language, you might want to look the other direction.
