Well, not really HERE here, but close enough. Azure Boone (best friend, co-author, critique partner) and I recently released our first joint project, Archangels Creed 1: Kassern. As part of our promotion for “Kassern” we decided to make it FREE for Christmas! The promotion will run Dec 24, 25, and 26. Get your copy HERE! Then we figured, what the hell, let’s make it a REAL gift! We put ALL* our books FREE for the same period! While you’re busy reading, Azure and I will be busy too. Azure is recovering from the birth of Baby #9! As usual, I’m riding herd on the 3 grandsons – they’re good kids, but they’re so close in age they can be difficult to handle. And while we’re meeting the demands of very active families, we’re also writing in every spare second, and every not-so-spare second. Archangels Creed 2: Dorn is well under … Continue reading →
Between a Hubby with bronchitis, 3 tiny boys with a stomach virus, battling a week-long migraine, and trying to help my Mom a little, I haven’t had a great deal of time left over for writing. Which meant blogging was one of the first cuts I made. Hopefully, at least some of that is resolved now, because I’m sooo over cleaning up buckets of vomit. B} Who The Hell Won? The first order of business: the winners of the Tight Spaces Release Tour Giveaway. Ashley Anne Applebee, LaNan Ray, and Carin Walker won copies of Tight Spaces. I’ll email all of you with information. Safe Heart Release On November 1st, I very quietly released the first book in the Blood Dragon series: Safe Heart. I confess, I’m a horrible procrastinator. If I have a deadline, I’ll do most of a job ahead, and save the last bit to do as the clock is ticking off the deadline. This project was no different. TIGHT SPACES has been finished for a couple of weeks, and the release date decided. But did I upload it early? Nope! Waited until 36 hrs before the intended release. And, even though it was finished, I still added part of a scene Thursday evening, right before uploading. I’d hoped it would go live this morning, but it didn’t until mid-afternoon. But, it’s available now!! Buy TIGHT SPACES A lonely woman goes dancing with friends to kick the Bad Breakup Anniversary Blues. Her fantasy-man is willing to help, until her lowlife ex ambushes him. With the first anniversary of the messy break up of a long-term relationship bearing down, Amy has the … Continue reading →
I intended to reveal the cover that won the vote, and announce the expected release date for Tight Spaces on Saturday. As you know by now, that didn’t happen. Unfortunately, Hubby made plans without telling me, and dragged me along last minute. I took my laptop, but without internet access, didn’t accomplish a great deal. Hell, I even missed posting my Six Sentence Sunday! So, here I go, playing catch up! The cover vote was incredibly close! With 80 votes, Red squeaked by to win with 42 votes to Blue’s 38. Expected Release Date for Tight Spaces: Double Dare Club #1 – Saturday, September 15, 2012! ~~~~~~ The limited time over the weekend that I did have internet access, I used to arrange the Tight Spaces Kick Off Blog Tour to run September 17 thru October 12, 2012. As soon as I have the finalized itinerary, I’ll announce it here. The … Continue reading →
As you know, I’m getting ready to launch Tight Spaces, Book #1 in the Double Dare series of Erotic Romances. These stories are all connected to the Double Dare Night Club in one way or another. While you’re here, don’t forget to VOTE ON THE COVER! Since the Double Dare figures so prominently in all the stories, I’d like to have a sort of signature drink for characters to order, to get thrown in a douchebag’s face, or to fall off a waiter’s tray right into some super-hot guy’s lap. I could include the recipe for this drink with promotional items for the series, and on the website, that sort of thing. The problem is, I know VERY little about alcohol. *blushes* The extent of my drinking experience extends to a few shots of moonshine, and one ill-advised evening of Southern Comfort and coke, consumed on an empty stomach with … Continue reading →
I'm a Romance Author - mainly Paranormal, but nearly all with fairly graphic intimate scenes. Those scenes serve to further the development of my plots and characters and are not included haphazardly to sell books or arouse readers.
I probably COULD tell the stories without the graphic parts, but I CHOOSE not to. I want to show the full scope of the developing relationship, and leaving out some of the most powerful and meaningful moments will deprive the reader of a measure of understanding and emotional reaction to the characters and their stories.
Since I write books intended for adult readers, I often have material on my website that is entirely unsuitable for younger readers. If you're under 18, or if you're easily offended by open discussion of sexual situations with frank language, you might want to look the other direction.
