They Say Good Things Are Worth The Wait

In my opinion they are. I KNOW this one is! I’ve been mostly absent from the site for a LONG time. Between health stuff and writing, I’ve neglected everything else. But I have good news on both fronts… I’m getting my gall-bladder out, which will take care of my newest batch of symptoms. No date yet, but as soon as I can get it done. We were supposed to have “Summon Dorn” out on Valentines day. Didn’t happen. Damn gall bladder took a LOT of writing hours from me. Sick kids took a BUNCH more. So we rescheduled for March 1st. Also didn’t happen. Somewhere in there my laptop died so I bit the bullet and replaced the one I really liked a LOT. With a laptop that runs Windows 8. Lost 3 writing days to getting everything moved from backup – yes, I backed up, Thank God! – and learning … Continue reading

From Hell In A Handbasket To A Cabin In Alaska!

We’re rapidly closing in on March 1st, (*panics*) the release date for “Archangels Creed 2: Summon Dorn”.  While Azure and I are busting ass to finish up, we’re also working to get word out about the series. A few weeks ago, I stopped by Kriss Morton’s Cabin Goddess blog, and asked to do a guest post. She gave me one of her amazingly innovative Fourth Wall Friday spots. Fourth Wall Friday is one of those concepts that’s so basic you wonder why everyone isn’t doing it. FWF posts give readers an inside look at how writing works and what it means to each author. It gives a rare glimpse into the author’s mind and thought processes as the story is formed. Stop by Cabin Goddess to see our 4th Wall Friday and see how Azure and I work with such powerful characters. While you’re there, make sure you Like and Share the post, … Continue reading

Whips & Chains & Gems, Oh My! from #TRS #CAPAParty

The Romance Studio is giving the 10th Annual “Cupid And Psyche Awards” (CAPA) on Valentines Day 2013. To celebrate, they’re having a party leading up to the awards. They’re giving away an Amazon Gift Card (value $100 minimum) to one lucky reader and lots of other prizes from the TRS prize vault and participating authors too! As usual, I’m late to the Party – I missed posting all day yesterday and today – but I intend to make up for lost time! Over Feb 13th and 14th, I’ll be posting regularly with info and excerpts from all my books. This event also marks the beginning of our gearing up for the official release of “Archangels Creed 2: Dorn”, so my posts will have exclusive excerpts and info that won’t be posted again, anywhere. In order to reach as many readers as possible, I’ll be pasting some of those posts here, as well … Continue reading

Delayed Release of “Archangels Creed 2: Dorn”

I’ve been a BAAAAaaaaaadddd Blogger! No, it’s true. I haven’t posted in… well, a long time. And I’m behind on writing. Like seriously behind. Behind enough to delay the release of Book 2 in the “Archangels Creed” series. There’s a reason, but it doesn’t get the writing and editing done. So, rather than put out less than our best work, Azure and I have decided to delay the release of “Dorn” until March 1st. As much as we want it in readers’ hands, we want to do it justice and write the best story we’re capable of more. I’m mentioned chronic health problems a few times but haven’t given many details. Since it’s such a limiting factor in all I do, I should probably elaborate more. But for right now, suffice to say, my health has recently cut into my work time, enough to significantly effect my output. I’m feeling … Continue reading

Santa Left Something for You Here

Well, not really HERE here, but close enough. Azure Boone (best friend, co-author, critique partner) and I recently released our first joint project, Archangels Creed 1: Kassern. As part of our promotion for  ”Kassern” we decided to make it FREE for Christmas! The promotion will run Dec 24, 25, and 26. Get your copy HERE! Then we figured, what the hell, let’s make it a REAL gift! We put ALL* our books FREE for the same period! While you’re busy reading, Azure and I will be busy too. Azure is recovering from the birth of Baby #9! As usual, I’m riding herd on the 3 grandsons – they’re good kids, but they’re so close in age they can be difficult to handle. And while we’re meeting the demands of very active families, we’re also writing in every spare second, and every not-so-spare second. Archangels Creed 2: Dorn is well under … Continue reading

Long Time, No See

It’s been a HORRIBLY long time since I’ve blogged! Apologies, for more than one reason, are in order. First, I missed the posts for the last week of my Tight Spaces Kick Off Blog Tour, including the finale to announce the winners of the giveaway! I have good reasons, I promise. (FYI, the finale post will go up in a few days, within a week.) Second, I owe the members of my blogging network extreme apologies, since I haven’t been active there either. As a consequence, I haven’t Tweeted the announcements for their blog posts. Sorry, guys! I PROMISE, I’m getting back to it! Third, I’m sorry, Azure! As you know, Azure Boone, BFF and Crit Partner, and I are working on a joint project that will seriously rock your world. The first book of our Paranormal Romance series, “Archangel’s Creed, The Summoning I, Kassern” is moving fast and we … Continue reading

Imagine my surprise when, the other day, I get a comment on my post Kenra Daniels’ #SixSunday – Yet Another Title announcing that I’ve been tagged with the Lovely Blog Award! Many thanks to Sunni Morris at Surviving Life for my very first Blog Award!   What is the Lovely Blog Award? Hubby and I were married 6 weeks after we met, having spent a total of 10 days together when he could get weekend passes from Fort Knox. 3. Growing up, I loved horses – more than most girls who love horses. I … Continue reading

Kenra Daniels Celebrates Hot Summer Heroes

Welcome To The Hot Summer Heroes Blog Hop! One random commenter will win a copy of my BFF’s new release The Devil Wants A China Doll!   We’re here to celebrate what makes Romance Heroes soooooo damn HOT! One of the hottest is my BFF / CP Azure Boone‘s Rone Kreed, from her new release The Devil Wants A China Doll, just out from Loose Id Publishing. Rone has resigned himself to a life without love, since he realized the Demon that lives within him can use him to claim women’s souls. Then he meets Sheeku and falls desperately in love. He’ll go to ANY length to protect Sheeku from the demon, even if it means he can never have her. Now, just to look at, former Marine Rone is pretty hot, even with the scars marking up his chest from the ceremony that put the demon in him. … Continue reading
